What is Sunburn? Sunburn: Causes, Symptoms, and Treatment
Ultraviolet rays from the sun not only cause sunburn but have possibility of skin cancer as well. It causes skin tuning and premature aging of skin as well as decreases the disease resistance capability. People who are more exposed to the sun, people of age above 50 have more chances of getting skin cancer.
How to Prevent ?
- Petroleum jelly, moisturizing cream or lotion should be applied on sunburned part
- Avoid going out from house between 10-4.
- Use UV sunglasses, hat, umbrella and full sleeve clothes while going out.

Domestic Measures:
- To prevent sunburn from the UV rays of the sun aloe Vera pulp, potato juice and omil can be applied as pack.
- Put tea bag in water and soak cotton in that water and apply on sunburned area.
