Dehydration Symptoms, Treatments, Causes, Emergencies
In summer season, due to extreme perspiration or
physical work dehydration occurs. Headache, tiredness, dryness, urine color
change, hand and leg pain, drowsiness etc. are the symptoms of dehydration. In
most of the cases, dehydration may cause heat stroke as well.

Precautions:

- Don’t stay thirsty for long time. Drink water in between your work. While doing physical work, take water every 20 minutes.
- Every day, take 4-5 glass of lemon water.
- When you go outside your house, take your water bottle with you.
- Give your children water or fruit juice from time to time.
- Keep your away from tea-coffee or soda.

Domestic measures:
- Drink lemon water and coconut water 4-5times.
- Banana is beneficial when there is lack of potassium in the body. Apart from this, you can also take foods like kharbhuja, leeks, strawberry, cucumber having high amount of water.
- You can also take apple or orange juice to reduce dehydration.
